By downloading or using GST Invoice Maker, you agree to these terms. Please read them — they're written in plain language.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the GST Invoice Maker & Billing iOS application and website (collectively, "the App") provided by GenerateInvoice ("we", "our", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on any Apple device you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.
You may not:
Core features of the App — including invoice creation, client management, product catalog, and PDF sharing — are currently provided free of charge with no subscription required. We reserve the right to introduce optional paid features or premium plans in the future. Any such changes will be communicated in advance and will not remove access to features that were previously free.
The App is designed to help you create GST-compliant invoices based on the information you enter. However:
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter into the App — including client details, product information, invoice amounts, and GST rates. We have no access to your data (see our Privacy Policy) and therefore cannot verify, correct, or recover it on your behalf.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. We recommend enabling Google Drive sync as an additional safety measure.
The optional Google Drive sync feature is provided under Google's terms and privacy policy. Your use of Google Sign-In is subject to Google's Terms of Service. We are not responsible for any issues arising from Google's services, including data loss, access issues, or policy changes by Google.
All content in the App — including the design, graphics, invoice templates, icons, and text — is owned by GenerateInvoice and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or use any of it without our written permission.
Invoice PDFs you generate using the App are your own documents and belong to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GenerateInvoice shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of business data, loss of revenue, or tax penalties — arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which is zero if you are using the free version).
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
